Mediumistic Practice
Since mediumship is an instrument that promotes progress, an instrument through which demonstrations of immortality and a whole set of contributions take place for human happiness, it entails the fulfillment of serious requirements so that sought for blessings may result. A thorough comprehension of the objectives of mediumship enables the medium to fulfill the commitment made before reincarnation; however, disregarding it leads to very complex problems that impinge on the bearer’s existence.
Any faculty of the body, mind or soul that is relegated to a secondary plane suffers the disorganization that time and lack of exercise impose, generating atrophy, delay and imbalance. Mediumship is no exception. Depending on mediums’ mental and social conduct, the result of their thoughts and actions, they attract spirits with whom they are in tune and they begin to harbor their sentiments and ideas, exteriorizing them sometimes without realizing it.
The mediumistic experience is, therefore, an important chapter in the daily life of all in whom the faculty manifests itself, all who intend to serve the program of the Good in the restorationor foundation of the just and happy society of the New Era of the Immortal Spirit.
In this wonderful little book, the authors, who have extensive mediumistic experience, study various subjects that contribute to the correct practice of mediumship from the point of view of the Spiritist Doctrine, guided by the morals preached and lived by Jesus, as well as by his first disciples, all of whom were mediums, including the Lord Himself, who was God’s medium, living His message.
